its always good to have a plastic mouthpiece too if it gets really cold so then this way u don't have to play a metal one when its really cold bad things happen

When I was in high school, we marched in the Chincoteague Christmas Parade. I played Alto Sax at the parade and had just bought a metal mouthpiece for my sax.... Well, there I was marching along. We had just finished the song and I went to take the mouthpiece from my mouth and....well...it was stuck.

My band director, Mr. Colbert, walked by and just laughed at me and walked on by. I remember a distinct...DOH!! Feeling.

So...yep. I agree. Bad things happen.
