Mr. Matthews has this really cool idea to play this piece called "Peter and the Wolf". Its a piece that tells a story and all the instruments of the band are different characters in the story. There is a narrator and everything and I think the piece is about a half hour long. I listened to this story alot on long car rides when I was little. I think that this would be a great way to get elementary school kids into band because when you're in fifth grade, it's more interesting to listen to a story that just music. Please concider this for our spring concert '08.

i loved that movie so much. that is really got me in music. of course not in band but chorus.
