I guess it goes without saying that everyone has heard of his passing. Since this is a music site, are there any thoughts on the subject?

From a strictly musical point of view, he was a gifted performer and probably a musical genius. I really liked the Jackson 5, especially "I'll Be There", "I Want You Back", and "ABC". From his solo career, I wasn't really "in" to his music, but I would never turn the channel if one of his songs came on the radio. One of my favorite songs is actually a cover of "Billy Jean" by Soundgarden/Audioslave's Chris Cornell.

Anyway, those are some of my ramblings. What do you think?

yea. i wasn't really in to him either until he passed. i was thinking maybe we can play some of his music as a tribute to him. he did after all influence many musicians today.
