Senior Band
(9th graders who are not chosen for Senior Band may audition for Junior Band on the second day.)

Chromatic Scale
This should be played on as much of the range of the instrument as the student can. As in District Band, slur up and tongue down.

Major Scales
* Non Transposing Instruments - Bb, Eb, Ab, F, C, G, Db
* Bb Instruments - C, F, Bb, G, D, A, Eb
* Eb Instruments - G, C, F, D, A, E, Bb
* F Instruments - F, Bb, Eb, C, G, D, Ab

Please note that both concert pitch and local pitch will be requested by the judges. So, an Alto Sax needs to know his/her C concert scale, but at the audition it would be something like "Alto Sax #3, please play your C concert scale, this is your A Major scale".
