The Friends Of Onancock School have asked me to relay a message to our members regarding a Town Council Meeting In Onancock. Tomorrow night, Thursday February 8, 2007 at 6:30 pm in the Town Council Chambers there will be a Public meeting to gather information and provide input as to the fate of the school building and adjacent property. All residents of the town as well as persons having a vested interest in seeing that the building be preserved are urged to attend and voice their opinion at this meeting. If you cannot attend the meeting you are encouraged to send a letter to the Town Council voicing your opinion about the property, especially the building that we are currently using.
Again, the meeting is 6:30pm, Thursday February 8, 2007 at the Council Chambers in Onancock. The chambers are located directly across from the DMV office on North Street in Onancock.
