| Why music is important to you |

Hello All,
I am taking a philosophy class right now that really has me thinking about what it is about music that makes it important.
SO.... I would like to ask you some questions. You don't have to answer all of them. Just tell us what specific question you are answering and go for it. There are absolutely not wrong answers.
Why is music important to you?
What is it about a piece of music that makes it good to you?
Can music benefit everyone? How?
Is there anything that can ONLY be achieved by music? If so, what?
If your school board was debating whether to keep music in the school system and they ask you what good is it, what would you say?

Yes I think that everyone did a great job today and was well behaved!! Im not so much as tired but frustrated...yes!! Tomarrow will tell us the outcome!!
